Although this looks like one of my recent black and white shoots it’s not (as you can tell from the bottle in the top left corner which was left just for this reason), I just caught the sun coming off the ice at the right angle to throw everything into deep black and greys. This, unusually, is straight out of the camera and it was the only shot out of about 50 on this pond that got the effect I was after.
